Manager, E-Commerce & Growth Marketing

Hiring Objective

The E-comm/Growth Brand Manager, LFSY turns FMCG and Lifestyle brand briefs and GTM plans into e-commerce launch plans and assets that convert. She owns how ZUS products are positioned, presented and launched across marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop), live commerce (TikTok Live, Shopee Live) and the ZUS website, and supports cross-border launches.

Reporting to the Lead, Growth & E-commerce, the role drives new product sales, launch speed and brand consistency online, contributing directly to the team's revenue and profitability OKRs.

Position Responsibilities

  • Receive briefs and GTM plans from FMCG and Lifestyle Brand Managers and translate them into e-commerce briefs: channel role, hero SKUs, bundles, price architecture and key claims per platform.

  • Build end-to-end e-commerce launch plans per product, covering timeline, channel mix (marketplaces, website, live commerce), promo mechanics and campaign moments around mega-sales (e.g. 9.9, 11.11, 12.12, payday).

  • Brief and approve e-commerce assets with Creative: listing images, product description content, store banners, video and livestream visuals; adapt master brand assets to each platform's specs.

  • Plan live-commerce launches with the Livestream team: launch-day live sessions, live-exclusive packs and mechanics, and live selling kits (key selling points, demos, host scripts, FAQs).

  • Hand over complete launch packs to E-commerce AMs and the Livestream team, and track readiness through to go-live.

  • Track launch performance (sales, conversion, ratings and reviews, live GMV) and run post-launch reviews, feeding insights back to FMCG and Lifestyle brand teams.

  • Lead and coach the Ecomm/Growth Brand Executive, LFSY.

  • Act as guardian of ZUS brand guidelines across all e-commerce touchpoints; ensure claims, pricing and promotions match approved briefs and company policies.

  • Flag commercial and channel risks early (margin, merchant fees, price parity, channel exclusivity).

  • Own listing quality standards (titles, keywords, images, claims) and keep an up-to-date asset library per SKU.

  • Secure platform support such as campaign slots and banners with marketplace partners.

  • Support the Cross-border Lead (dotted line) by adapting MY launch plans and assets for cross-border markets, and brief the shared Cross-border Designer.

  • Build reusable launch templates and asset kits so launches can be rolled out quickly across channels and markets.

  • Recommend listing, content and mechanic improvements for always-on SKUs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in brand or trade marketing, with at least 2 years on e-commerce or marketplace channels.

  • Hands-on experience launching FMCG and/or lifestyle products on Shopee, Lazada or TikTok Shop, including live commerce (TikTok Live, Shopee Live).

  • Experience briefing creative teams and managing multiple launches in parallel.

  • Experience supervising or coaching at least one junior team member.

  • Experience with Shopify or a D2C brand website, and working with livestream hosts, KOLs or affiliate creators, is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of marketplace mechanics: campaign calendars, vouchers, bundles, listing optimization and platform specs.

  • Understanding of live-commerce formats and what drives live conversion.

  • Ability to judge creative assets for conversion, not only aesthetics.

  • Commercial awareness: pricing, margin, merchant fees and price parity across channels.

  • Data skills: reading sales, listing and live performance data and turning them into clear actions.

  • Strong project management and stakeholder management.

  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong eye for brand consistency and visual quality.

  • Highly organized; able to juggle many launches and deadlines without dropping the ball.

  • Proactive and takes ownership from brief to go-live.

  • Collaborative bridge-builder between brand, creative and channel teams; comfortable pushing back when a brief does not work for e-commerce.

  • Curious and data-driven; learns from every launch and keeps improving.

  • Coach who supports and develops a junior teammate.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment.

A necessity, not a luxury.
