PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE (OF THIS POSITION):

The incumbent will be responsible for providing leadership to lead the Company and the ecosystem in leveraging new technologies. In addition to that, to drive innovation, creation, adoption, and revolution in the industry through practical & radical transformation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• To be responsible for devising the technological vision, architecture, strategies, and roadmaps as well as to develop tactical plans to align with the Company’s strategies and OKRs to be future-proof.

• To provide leadership and technical advice to business users, technical members and stakeholders to ensure adoption of strategic Digital/Tech framework and standards.

• To be involved in continuous improvement, initiate new ideas / concepts by leveraging the latest technologies; driving the efficiency across the whole ecosystem.

• To work closely with stakeholders and partners to drive the change and innovation agenda.

• To manage project financials and keep track of project costs, risks, schedules, performance metrics, deliverables, issues, escalations.

• To oversee the new technical aspects and technological development, assess their value-add and applicability for the purpose of the Company’s growth and adoption.

• To drive the in-house engineering capabilities to translate emerging technology components to industry applications such as AWS Cloud Services (Lambda, EC2, ECS, Athena, S3, Glue, Redshift, Quicksight), Laravel, Flutter,React,Mysql.

• To conceptualize, manage, and drive the implementation of strategic technology projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification

• Be in possession of an IT Degree or equivalent. Possession of an MBA would be an added advantage

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of technical and leadership experience with proven track record in technology leadership function.

Skills & Knowledge

• Good experience in designing and building complex software systems and applications leveraging cutting edge technologies.
• Strong technical knowledge of emerging technologies namely, AWS Cloud Services(Lambda, EC2, ECS, Athena, S3, Glue, Redshift, Quicksight), Laravel, Flutter,React,Mysql with hands-on experience in software product development & deployment and its best practices.
• Knowledge in cyber security, cyber operations, security orchestration, governance, and consulting fields.
• Excellent ability to transform business requirements and expectations to results using technology.
• Proven ability to drive team engagement in a tough and time-pressed environment.
• Experience in leading and motivating small to medium scale IT Infrastructure, Engineering, and Architecture teams.
• Excellent communication / stakeholder skills and emotional intelligence to influence key decisions, mediate conflicts and build consensus.
• Thrives in an ambiguous and complex environment with ability to analyse, make decisions, and overcome show-stoppers/difficulties.
