Senior Content Executive (ZUS Signature)  

Position Responsibilities:

Hiring Objective: ZUS Signature Coffee is looking for a creative, culturally curious, and highly organised Senior Marketing Executive – Content & Social Media to shape how our brand shows up across social media and digital platforms. This role willtake ownership of our content strategy, social media planning, content calendar, and day-to-day brand storytelling, translating product launches, campaigns, outlet openings, seasonal moments, and business priorities into content that people actuallywant to watch, read, share, and engage with. You'll be responsible for building a strong and consistent content rhythm across platforms including Instagram, Threads, TikToTok, Facebook, and other relevant channels, while ensuring every piece of content reflects the premium, contemporary, curious, and approachable identity of ZUS Signature Coffee. This isn't just a posting role.We're looking for someone who can think like a content strategist, creator, copywriter, and brand builder — someone who understands what makes a good idea culturally relevant, knows how to turn a campaign into multiple social-first stories, and can independently bring ideas from concept to execution.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Social Media Planning

  • Own and develop ZUS Signature Coffee's social media and content strategy, ensuring our channels consistently strengthenbrand awareness, relevance, engagement, and community growth.
  • Develop and manage the monthly content calendar across Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevantplatforms.
  • Translate the broader marketing calendar — including new product launches, seasonal campaigns, promotions, outletopenings, collaborations, brand moments, and business priorities — into a clear and engaging social content plan.
  • Build a healthy content mix across brand storytelling, product education, lifestyle, entertainment, cultural moments,community, promotional content, and social-first ideas.- Identify different storytelling angles from a single campaign or product launch rather than relying on one campaign messageacross every platform.
  • Ensure content is planned specifically for how audiences behave on each platform instead of simply reposting the samecreative everywhere.
  • Develop recurring content pillars, formats, series, and social properties that help build stronger brand recognition over time.
  • Maintain a forward-looking content pipeline to ensure the brand remains consistent, active, and relevant beyond campaignperiods.

Secondary Job Responsibilities:

Content Production & Creative Coordination
  • Manage content production timelines from idea → brief → production → review → approval → publishing.
  • Coordinate designers, photographers, videographers, creators, agencies, and other partners when required.
  • Prepare content briefs, references, moodboards, shot lists, scripts, and production requirements.
  • Organise and maintain a structured library of brand assets, product images, videos, templates, and social content.
  • Ensure all content meets brand standards while being optimised for the intended social platform.
  • Manage multiple content projects simultaneously while keeping timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables organised.

Content Performance & Optimisation
  • Track and analyse key social media metrics including reach, impressions, engagement, saves, shares, video views, watch time,follower growth, traffic, and content performance.
  • Conduct regular content reviews to identify which topics, formats, hooks, creative styles, products, and storytelling approaches perform best.
  • Translate performance insights into clear recommendations for future content.
  • Test different creative formats, posting approaches, messaging angles, and content types to continuously improveperformance.
  • Monitor audience behaviour and community feedback to better understand what customers want to see from the brand.
  • Work with relevant teams to understand how social and content initiatives contribute to wider campaign and businessperformance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Advertising, Creative Media,Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or equivalent creative tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media publishing, analytics, and content management tools is advantageous.
  • Willing to travel occasionally for content shoots, outlet openings, events, and on-ground activations.

Job Experience (Requirement):
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in social media, content marketing, brandmarketing, creative marketing, or a related role.
  • Proven experience managing brand social media channels and content calendars across multiple platforms.
  • Hands-on experience developing social media content from concept and planning through to production and - publishing.
  • Experience creating or managing content for product launches, campaigns, promotions, seasonal moments, and brandinitiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience working with designers, photographers, videographers, creators, agencies, or other creativepartners.
  • Experience managing multiple content projects and stakeholders simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Experience using content and social media performance data to improve future content planning and execution.
  • Experience in F&B, retail, lifestyle, hospitality, fashion, beauty, or other consumer-facing brands will be highly advantageous.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating content shoots and on-ground activations is preferred.


Skills & Knowledge (Requirements):
  • Strong understanding of social media strategy, content planning, brand storytelling, andplatform-specific content behaviour across Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
  • Strong ability to develop and manage monthly social media content calendars aligned with campaigns, product launches,outlet openings, seasonal moments, and business priorities.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills with the ability to develop captions, scripts, hooks, headlines, social copy, andcontent briefs.
  • Good understanding of short-form video content, including Reels and TikToTok formats, storytelling structures, hooks, editingstyles, and trends.
  • Strong creative judgement with a good eye for design, composition, typography, photography, video, and visual storytelling.
  • Proficient in creating basic creative assets using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or equivalent tools.
  • Comfortable creating social media creatives, simple videos, presentation decks, mock-ups, and basic marketing collateralindependently.
  • Strong understanding of how to translate marketing campaigns, products, promotions, and brand messages into engagingsocial-first content.
  • Good understanding of content production processes, including creative briefing, moodboards, shot lists, scripts, productioncoordination, review, and publishing.
  • Able to interpret social media performance metrics such as reach, engagement, saves, shares, watch time, video views,follower growth, and traffic, and translate insights into content improvements.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, CRM, paid media, influencer/creator marketing, and customer journey is an addedadvantage.
  • Strong project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple content streams and deadlinessimultaneously.
  • Good understanding of current social trends, internet culture, consumer behaviour, and digital best practices.
