Intern, Regional Corporate Governance, Risk and Compliance  

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the CGRC team in implementing governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives across the organisation
  • Support the review, maintenance, and administration of company policies, procedures, and governance documentation
  • Assist in monitoring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards
  • Prepare, organise, and maintain compliance records, registers, trackers, and supporting documentation
  • Support governance reviews, compliance assessments, and internal control improvement initiatives
  • Assist in conducting research on regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and emerging governance trends
  • Coordinate and follow up with internal stakeholders on governance and compliance-related matters
  • Assist in the administration of declarations, attestations, and compliance awareness programmes (e.g. Conflict of Interest, Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption, Whistleblowing)
  • Support the preparation of reports, presentations, dashboards, and meeting materials for management and governance committees
  • Assist with investigations, fact-finding activities, and documentation review under the supervision of the CGRC team, where applicable
  • Perform data analysis and maintain databases to support compliance monitoring and governance reporting
  • Carry out other governance, risk, compliance, and administrative duties as assigned by the reporting manager

Qualification and Experience

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, Compliance, or a related discipline
  • Final-year students or those undergoing compulsory industrial training are encouraged to apply
  • Candidates with internship, industrial training, part-time work, or project experience in governance, compliance, internal audit, risk management, legal, finance, or business administration will have an added advantage
  • Experience in conducting research, analysing data, preparing reports, or coordinating projects through academic assignments or extracurricular activities is preferred
  • Active participation in university clubs, leadership roles, competitions, or volunteer activities demonstrating teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills is an advantage
  • Exposure to Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaborative working tools through academic or project work is preferred
