Regional Rewards Specialist  

Position Responsibilities

The Rewards Specialist is responsible for supporting the management, administration, analysis, and continuous improvement of rewards programs to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, operational efficiency, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role provides data-driven insights, manages reward-related processes, and partners with People & Culture Ops and business stakeholders to deliver a positive employee experience while supporting the organization's talent attraction, retention, and engagement objectives.


1. Compensation Administration & Analysis

  • Support and administer salary review, incentives, and compensation adjustment processes.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitiveness.
  • Review and validate compensation recommendations for hires, promotions, transfers, and internal movements.
  • Maintain compensation databases and salary structures to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

2. Benefits Administration

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, insurance, wellness, and leave benefits.
  • Coordinate benefits enrolment, updates, and employee eligibility requirements.
  • Monitor benefits utilization and identify trends for reporting and review.

3. HR Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare and deliver compensation and benefits reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
  • Analyze compensation trends, salary movements, headcount costs, and benefits data.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of compensation and benefits data within HR systems.

4. Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compensation and benefits practices comply with company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits related to rewards administration.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for compensation and benefits programs.

5. Service Delivery & Stakeholder Support

  • Provide timely and accurate support to employees, managers, and HR stakeholders on compensation and benefits matters.
  • Ensure service requests and enquiries are resolved within agreed service levels.
6. Vendor Coordination
  • Liaise with benefits providers, insurance brokers, and external consultants on routine administrative matters.
  • Support vendor performance monitoring and issue resolution.

7. Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve compensation and benefits processes, reporting efficiency, and data accuracy.
  • Assist in implementing automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

8. Policy & Program Support

  • Support the communication and implementation of compensation and benefits policies and guidelines.
  • Assist in policy reviews and updates to ensure relevance and compliance.

9. Project Support

  • Participate in compensation, benefits, HRIS, and rewards-related projects as assigned.
  • Support annual compensation exercises, benefits renewals, employee engagement initiatives, and HR transformation efforts.

10. Data Quality Management

  • Conduct periodic audits and reviews to ensure data integrity and consistency across HR systems.
  • Assist in maintaining compensation and benefits documentation, templates, and process guides.

Qualification and Experience

1. Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

2. Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Compensation, Benefits, Recognition, HR Operations, Payroll, or Rewards Administration.
  • Experience across multiple industries such as FMCG, Retail, Technology, Manufacturing, Shared Services, or Consumer Goods is preferred.
  • Proven experience in salary benchmarking, job evaluation, and rewards analysis.
  • Experience supporting regional or multinational organizations is an advantage.
  • Exposure in global / regional compensation frameworks, cross-border benefits administration, organizational design, workforce planning, or HR analytics.

3. Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, and data analysis.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Darwin Box, Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, SAP, or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with compensation survey providers such as Mercer, WTW, Korn Ferry, Aon, or Radford.
  • Well versed with job evaluation methodology.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
