Regional Global Mobility Specialist  

Position Responsibilities

The Global Mobility Specialist serves as the subject matter expert for mobility-related matters, managing the full employee mobility lifecycle from assignment initiation through repatriation. The role ensures effective policy administration, risk mitigation, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination while supporting business needs for international talent deployment and workforce planning.

1. Global Mobility Administration
  • Coordinate end-to-end mobility processes for employee relocations, international assignments, transfers, and repatriations.
  • Support the preparation and processing of mobility documentation.
  • Track assignment milestones and monitor case progress to ensure timely completion.
2. Immigration Coordination
  • Coordinate visa, work permit, employment pass, and related immigration applications with appointed vendors.
  • Monitor permit expiry dates and renewal requirements.
  • Ensure mobility records and supporting documentation are maintained accurately.
3. Employee & Stakeholder Support
  • Act as the first point of contact for mobility-related enquiries from employees and managers.
  • Provide guidance on relocation benefits, assignment processes, and mobility policies.
  • Ensure enquiries are resolved within agreed service levels.
4. Mobility Data & Reporting
  • Maintain employee mobility records and databases.
  • Prepare regular mobility reports, assignment trackers, and compliance updates.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness within HR systems.
5. Compliance & Policy Administration
  • Support adherence to company mobility policies and immigration requirements.
  • Escalate policy exceptions, compliance concerns, and case-related risks when identified.
  • Assist in audit and documentation requirements.

6. Vendor Coordination

  • Liaise with relocation companies, immigration consultants, tax providers, and other mobility vendors.
  • Track service delivery timelines and support issue resolution.
  • Assist in maintaining vendor records and documentation.

7. Mobility Benefits Administration

  • Support the administration of relocation allowances and mobility-related benefits.
  • Coordinate payroll instructions relating to mobility cases where required.
  • Assist in tracking mobility-related expenses.

8.Process & Documentation Management

  • Maintain mobility process documents, templates, and employee guides.
  • Support updates to mobility procedures and administrative workflows.

9. Project Support

  • Participate in mobility, HR operations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support system implementation, data cleanup, and mobility-related projects.

10. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, efficiency, and documentation accuracy.
  • Recommend process enhancements to improve employee experience.

Qualification and Experience

1. Qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Business, Finance, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications in Global Mobility, Immigration, HR, or Relocation Management are advantageous but not required.
2. Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Global Mobility, HR Operations, International HR, Relocation Services, Immigration Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting employee relocations, international assignments, work permits, visa administration, or expatriate management.
  • Exposure to multinational organizations or multi-country operations is preferred.
  • Experience working with external vendors such as immigration consultants, relocation providers, or tax advisors is an advantage.
3. Skills & Knowledge
  • Good understanding of global mobility policies, relocation practices, and assignment administration.
  • Knowledge of immigration and work authorization processes across multiple countries is preferred.
  • Familiarity with employment regulations, mobility compliance requirements, and HR operational processes.
  • Understanding of mobility-related compensation, allowances, and employee benefits is advantageous.
