Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage strategic accounts
• Identify and manage a portfolio of high-priority accounts with strategic importance to the company’s growth agenda
• Build strong commercial relationships with key decision-makers across modern trade, general trade groups, B2B customers, institutional buyers, and other priority accounts
• Develop account growth plans that go beyond short-term sales targets and focus on long-term strategic value
• Drive joint business planning with selected key accounts where relevant
• Ensure strong alignment between account opportunities and the company’s broader channel, brand, and portfolio strategy
2. Build and drive strategic partnerships
• Identify, evaluate, and develop partnerships that can strengthen distribution, market access, brand presence, or commercial reach
• Lead partnership discussions with distributors, retailers, ecosystem partners, corporate partners, platforms, and other strategic collaborators
• Structure partnership opportunities with clear commercial logic, mutual value creation, and execution pathways
• Work with internal stakeholders to bring partnerships from concept to launch and scale
• Monitor partnership performance and ensure intended value is being delivered
3. Unlock non-BAU growth opportunities
• Support special commercial projects that fall outside routine sales operations, including new channel entry, exclusive launches, co-branded opportunities, strategic activations, and market development initiatives
• Help the business pursue new commercial routes that can create competitive advantage or open meaningful whitespace
• Translate broad growth ideas into executable account or partnership opportunities
• Work closely with leadership on priority initiatives that require external relationship building and structured follow-through
4. Negotiate and structure commercial deals
• Lead or support negotiations for strategic accounts and partnerships, ensuring terms are commercially sound and alignedwith the company’s long-term interests
• Evaluate deal structures across pricing, trade terms, support requirements, exclusivity, promotional commitments, andperformance expectations
• Work with finance and leadership to assess commercial attractiveness and business implications before commitment
• Ensure agreements are clear, workable, and set up for successful execution
5. Cross-functional coordination to land growth
• Partner closely with sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and product teams to ensure strategic accounts and partnerships are executable and well-supported
• Align internal teams around launch plans, customer requirements, resource needs, and key deliverables
• Anticipate operational or commercial issues early and solve them before they affect relationships or performance
• Ensure strategic opportunities do not stall due to poor coordination or unclear ownership
6. Market intelligence and opportunity mapping
• Track market developments, customer moves, competitor partnerships, and channel shifts to identify potential opportunities for the company
• Map whitespace across account types, sectors, channels, and ecosystem opportunities
• Bring a forward-looking view on where strategic relationships can help the company win
• Use commercial insight and business judgment to recommend which relationships deserve management attention and investment
7. Performance tracking and reporting
• Monitor performance of strategic accounts and partnerships against agreed business objectives
• Prepare clear updates for leadership on pipeline, deal status, relationship health, risks, and expected impact
• Track revenue contribution, distribution expansion, profitability implications, and strategic value delivered through the portfolio
• Recommend course correction when accounts or partnerships are underperforming
