Senior Executive, Demand Planner  

Position Responsibilities:

Develop and execute short- and long-term demand plans to meet supply while optimizing inventory investment.


Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute short- and long-term demand plans to meet demand while optimizing inventory investment.
  • Demand Planning: Lead the creation of the statistical forecast using historical data and system tools, Consolidate commercial intelligence from Sales, Marketing, and supply planning teams to refine short‑, mid‑, and long‑term forecasts, Continuously monitor forecast accuracy and identify improvement actions.
  • Inventory Optimization: Manage inventory levels (safety stock, production capacity) to ensure product availability while minimizing carrying costs and stock-outs, Balance service levels, working capital targets, and storage constraints.
  • Sales stakeholder Management: Collaborate with external customer's account to ensure timely delivery of sales order flow in and manage capacity planning.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends, supply gaps, and potential disruptions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, procurement, and technical product teams to align plans, often managing S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes, Lead monthly Demand Review cycles, including variance commentary, risk and opportunity identification, and forecast updates.
  • Internal: Commercial/GTM, Supply Planners, Warehouse/Logistics team, Procurement, Finance (FP&A), Customer Service.
  • External: May interact with co-manufacturers, suppliers, and 3PLs where relevant to demand supply planning.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Experiences

  • Job Qualifications (Requirement): Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, or Business related
  • Job Experience (Requirement): Minimum 3 to 6+ years of experience in supply chain planning, raw materials planning, often focus within FMCG manufacturing or retail, Experience in food manufacturing supply chains.
  • Skills & Knowledge (Requirements): Technical Skills: High proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to reconcile data from multiple planning systems and reports..
  • Behavioral Traits / Personalities: Competencies: Strong analytical, decision-making, and particular on problem-solving skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams with solid logical thinking and can do attitude, Ability to communicate clearly under constrained or variable supply conditions.
