Position Responsibilities
Hiring Objective: The Supply Chain department optimizes the organization’s supply chain for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Policies and procedures are developed and implemented to ensure optimization in all stages, from sourcing and procurement to production, transportation, and distribution. We are looking for an individual to manage Demand Planning for all FMCG product offerings available at ZUS COFFEE chains in MY & SG. Notable brands include ZUS NGUPI, Expresso, Coffizz, etc.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Demand & Supply Planning
- Build and maintain rolling demand forecast for all FMCG SKUs by leveraging historical data, sales trends and marketing inputs.
- Translate demand forecast into supply plan(s), ordering requirements and replenishment strategies by considering E2E lead time, MOQ constraints and capacity constraints, in collaboration with Procurement, Suppliers and 3PL Partners.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels by proactively adjusting demand forecasts and coordinating with stakeholders on clearance or repurpose plans.
- Provide demand planning support for new product launches, end-of-life management and promotional planning to ensure smooth execution.
- Support weekly demand review meetings by presenting demand assumptions and forecast changes for all FMCG SKUs. Identify and escalate risks such as supply delays, demand spikes, promotional uplift or SKU performance deviations along with recommended mitigation actions.
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively escalate risks (aging, slow-moving, etc.) to ensure timely decision making to minimize write-offs and wastage.
- Track and report key planning KPIs (Forecast Accuracy, Service Level, OOS, Slow Moving, Wastage, Inventory Health) to management on a weekly and monthly basis.
Secondary Job Responsibilities:
Continuous Improvement
- Support enhancement of forecasting systems, data quality and planning parameters.
- Assist in developing SOPs, guidelines and documentation to strengthen demand planning and inventory management governance.
- Support system enhancement projects, including testing of new planning modules, integration improvements and data validation exercises.
