To oversee and optimize daily warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, cost-effective logistics execution, and compliance with operational standards while supporting overall supply chain performance.
Position Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock monitoring, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes.
- Coordinate transportation and delivery activities to achieve service level targets and on-time deliveries.
- Review and verify warehouse, transportation, and logistics-related invoices and costing for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor operational expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Lead and support warehouse personnel to achieve productivity, quality, and safety objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and workplace safety requirements.
- Prepare operational reports, analyze performance metrics, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives
- Enhances operational efficiency and service reliability through effective warehouse and logistics management.
- Maintains inventory accuracy and minimizes stock losses, supporting business continuity and customer satisfaction.
- Controls warehouse and transportation costs through invoice validation, cost analysis, and resource optimization.
- Improves productivity and operational performance by implementing best practices and process improvements.
- Ensures regulatory compliance and workplace safety, reducing operational risks.
- Provides accurate operational insights and data-driven recommendations to support management decision-making and organizational growth.
Qualification and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation coordination, and cost control.
- Experience in invoice verification, logistics costing, and budget monitoring.
- Proficient in WMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes.
- Understanding of logistics coordination, transportation planning, and delivery management.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices, stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and warehouse KPIs.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory tracking tools.
- Understanding of logistics costing, invoice verification, budget monitoring, and cost analysis.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards, regulatory compliance, and operational SOPs.
