Regional Assistant Manager, Supply Chain - Procurement & Sourcing  

Position Responsibilities

Support the Regional Procurement & Sourcing Manager in managing supplier relationships, contract execution, and sourcing coordination across markets. The role focuses on cost optimization, supplier compliance, and procurement process support to ensure consistent and reliable supply for the region’s F&B operations.


Procurement Operations

  • Assist in regional sourcing activities, purchase order management, and vendor coordination for raw materials, packaging, and indirect items.

Supplier Coordination

  • Work closely with regional and local suppliers to ensure timely delivery, accurate documentation, and compliance with specifications and food safety standards.

Cost & Data Analysis

  • Support cost benchmarking, price comparison, and spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Market & Price Monitoring

  • Track commodity prices and market trends affecting key food and packaging materials.

Reporting

  • Prepare periodic procurement performance reports and dashboards for management review.

Contract Administration

  • Maintain supplier agreements, renewal schedules, and ensure contract compliance and documentation accuracy.

System & Process Support

  • Ensure accurate data entry in procurement systems (ERP, supplier database) and assist in process standardization across markets.

Cross-functional Support

  • Collaborate with QA, R&D, and Operations teams for new product launches, supplier audits, and trials.


Qualification and Experience

Qualification

  • At least 5 - 10 years of experience in supply chain management
  • MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, Six Sigma, or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in managing end-to-end supply chain functions, including logistics, procurement, and distribution.
  • Proven track record of driving operational improvements, cost savings, and strategic initiatives within supply chain operations.
  • Deep understanding of regional supply chain dynamics, regulations, and market conditions.

Experience

  • Experienced in relevant industries such as manufacturing, logistics, retail F&B, healthcare, or technology.
  • Experienced managing global supply chains or in multi-country operations.
  • Familiarity with advanced supply chain technologies (e.g., ERP systems, AI, machine learning, IoT).
