Social Media & Community Specialist  

Position Responsibilities

Social Media Content & Community Management

  • Assist in planning and managing social media calendar and content strategy across all platforms (FB, IG, X, Threads, Tik Tok, XHS).
  • Create original, and trendy content (posts, stories, short-form videos, livestreams) that resonate with the platform’s audience to grow followers, build brand awareness and ultimately boost sales.This includes conceptualizing, filming, and editing shortform video content, crafting captions & scheduling content.
  • Identify customers’ needs and gaps in previous content and recommend new topics.
  • Provide real-time event coverage (recording, photography, live posting, copywriting).
  • Actively engage with followers through social media’s features like comments, duets, and challenges to foster community interaction.
  • Monitor social media comments and liaise with the Customer Service Team to address any issues.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure content consistency and campaign execution.
  • Track and analyze performance using social listening tools; prepare weekly and monthly reports.

Influencers Management
  • Identify, engage and establish relationships with relevant KOLs and KOCs in the industry.
  • Execute influencer campaigns, including negotiation, budget management, and ROI tracking.
  • Produce regular reports on campaign effectiveness and audience response.

Campaign Execution
  • Support marketing campaigns with copywriting for App Push notifications and EDMs.
  • Set up and manage campaigns/promotions in the App Backend System.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by superior/ management.

Team Collaboration & Support
  • Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to support campaign success
  • Contribute to team discussions, sharing insights and recommendations to optimize campaign performance.
  • Maintain clear communication within the team to ensure transparency and accountability in project timelines while actively seeking feedback, adapting to changes, and continuously learning to enhance skills and performance.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Fresh grads to 1 year of experience in social media, marketing, or creative production.
  • Prior experience in retail, F&B, startups, or creative agencies is preferred.
  • Experience managing content or campaigns on Tik Tok or XiaoHongShu is a bonus.
  • Excellent understanding of social media management and strategies.
  • Background in content creation (talent, shooting & editing)
  • Proven track record of creating viral content, with a portfolio of successful videos
  • Good copywriting skills.
  • Possess own transport.
  • Creative & original thinker, with the ability to produce content that is out of the box
  • Execution-driven, proactive, and high attention to detail.
  • High adaptability, resilience, and agility to perform in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Team player who can lead execution timelines and ensure accountability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
