Position Responsibilities
- Support the product development team in ideation, testing, and refinement of new food and beverage items
- Assist in kitchen trials and recipe development, including preparation, portioning, and documentation of results
- Conduct benchmarking and market research on food trends, competitors, and new product innovations
- Help in sourcing ingredients and liaising with suppliers for samples and product testing
- Maintain accurate records of recipes, costing, and product specifications
- Participate in sensory evaluations and provide feedback on taste, texture, and presentation
- Assist in costing exercises and ensure recipes align with target food cost and margin requirements
- Support in standardizing recipes and SOPs for operational rollout
- Work cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and supply chain teams to support product launches
- Ensure kitchen hygiene, food safety, and proper handling practices are followed during all trials
- Provide general support for ad-hoc projects, product launches, and testing sessions
