Regional Manager, Project (Tech)  

Position Responsibilities

The Project Manager is responsible for driving the successful delivery of technology initiatives from initiation through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives. Working under Delivery Excellence, the Project Manager executes delivery within the governance framework established by the PMO.

The role ensures strong planning, execution discipline, stakeholder coordination, and proactive risk management across assigned initiatives. The Project Manager acts as the central coordination point for cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between Engineering, Product, Enterprise Systems, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable project outcomes. The role requires a strong balance of execution leadership, structured reporting, and stakeholder influence to maintain delivery momentum and ensure commitments are met.

Project Planning and Delivery Execution
  • Drives the end-to-end execution of assigned projects, ensuring clear planning, structured execution, and achievement of defined milestones.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and delivery roadmaps aligned with PMO governance standards
  • Lead project kick-off sessions, ensuring alignment on objectives, scope, success criteria, and responsibilities
  • Define milestones, deliverables, and accountability structures across teams
  • Manage day-to-day project execution and ensure progress against planned schedules
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to maintain momentum and remove blockers
Governance and PMO Alignment
  • Ensures projects operate within the governance framework established by the PMO Lead and follow the organization’s delivery standards.
  • Apply PMO governance standards including stage gates, documentation requirements, and approval processes
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, trackers, and reporting artifacts
  • Ensure project readiness before progressing through key delivery phases
  • Support adoption of governance templates, tools, and best practices across the project team
  • Plays a key role in embedding delivery discipline across initiatives.
Project Monitoring, Visibility and Reporting
  • Provides clear and structured visibility into project performance and delivery health.
  • Track project progress against scope, schedule, and milestones
  • Maintain RAG status indicators for delivery health
  • Prepare structured project reports and updates for the PMO Lead and senior stakeholders
  • Actively maintain project RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
  • Escalate emerging risks or potential delays proactively
  • Ensures PMO and Leadership maintains clear visibility into delivery progress and risks.
Risk and Issue Management
  • Proactively identifies and manages risks that may impact project outcomes.
  • Identify potential delivery risks early and define mitigation plans
  • Manage project issues and coordinate resolution across stakeholders
  • Monitor dependencies across teams, business stakeholders or external vendors
  • Escalate critical risks to the PMO when required with clear context, impact assessment, and a recommended course of action
  • Ensure contingency planning for potential delivery challenges
  • Support to ensure delivery risks are managed before they impact timelines or outcomes.
Stakeholder Coordination and Communication
  • Acts as the central communication point across all project stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment between project objectives and stakeholder expectations
  • Facilitate regular project meetings including status updates, planning sessions, milestone reviews and drive decisions by capturing action to close the loops
  • Act as the primary project communication point for Engineering, Product, or across Tech Pillars or External Vendor where applicable.
  • Ensures collaboration across teams remains structured and productive.
Delivery Quality and Continuous Improvement
  • Contributes to improving delivery effectiveness and maturity across the organization.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews and capture lessons learned into actionable improvements
  • Identify delivery inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Contribute insights to the PMO Lead for improving governance frameworks and delivery practices
  • Promote consistent delivery practices across projects
  • Contributes to strengthening execution capability across the technology function.

Qualification and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Technology, Business, Engineering, or equivalent)
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification — preferred but not mandatory if experience is strong
  • Agile certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe) are valued for candidates with a strong agile delivery track record

A candidate at the mid-senior level (4–6 years) will be considered if they can demonstrate:
  • Exceptional delivery track record in complex, cross-functional technology programmes
  • Measurable contribution to delivery process improvement or team capability building
  • High proficiency with delivery governance tools and structured reporting
  • Strong appetite and demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous environments

Preferred Requirement:
  • Experience in F&B, retail, or similarly operationally complex industries
  • Exposure to technology systems common in F&B environments
  • Experience in PMO environments or contributing to delivery office setup and governance development
  • Vendor management experience, particularly for technology implementation partners
  • Familiarity with project tools such as Jira
