Regional System Business Analyst  

Position Responsibilities

1. Requirements Gathering & Documentation
  • Work closely with regional operations, product, and engineering teams together system enhancement requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and system specifications.
  • Produce structured documentation including:
    • Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
    • Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
    • Process flows and user journeys
  • Ensure requirement are complete,traceable, and aligned with business objectives
2. POS System Enhancement Support
  • Support continuous improvement of the POS platform across regional markets.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend system enhancements or optimizations.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to clarify requirements during development.
  • Ensure enhancements are implemented without disrupting store operations.
3. Structured Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Design structured test scenarios and test cases for POS system changes.
  • Coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Validate that system changes meet functional and operational requirements.
  • Track and manage defects during testing cycles.
4. UAT Coordination & Release Readiness
  • Organize and facilitate UAT sessions with regional stakeholders.
  • Prepare testing documentation and test scripts.
  • Ensure testing coverage for critical POS workflows such as:
    • Sales transactions
    • Payment processing
    • Promotions and discounts
    • Store operations
  • Provide release readiness validation before production deployment
5. Change Governance & Audit Documentation
  • Maintain complete audit-ready documentation for all POS system changes.
  • Ensure all system changes follow change management and governance processes.
  • Track enhancement requests, approvals, and release notes.
  • Maintain system documentation for compliance, operational reference, and future improvements.
6. Cross-Regional Coordination
  • Support POS platform initiatives across multiple regional markets.
  • Align system processes and documentation standards across regions.
  • Facilitate communication between operations, product teams, and engineering.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience

  • 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or retail systems.
  • Experience coordinating UAT and system testing.
