Corporate Driver  

Position Responsibilities

  • To employ a reliable and professional Driver to ensure the safe, efficient, and punctual transportation of directors and company staff.
  • The role focuses on vehicle maintenance, strict adherence to traffic regulations, and the discretion required when handling company-related travel.
  • Safely transport directors and company staff to and from specified locations.
  • Adjust travel routes as needed to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
  • Arrive at locations punctually and prepared as directed by the employer.
  • Maintain the company vehicle by performing regular washing, cleaning, monthly servicing, and ensuring all inspections (PUSPAKOM), road tax, and insurance are up to date.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures regarding conduct and operations.
  • Strictly follow road traffic rules and regulations.
  • Report any accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage to management immediately.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the company as needed.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (Malaysian Certificate of Education) or equivalent.
  • Valid driving license (GDL/PSV).
  • Clean traffic record with no criminal history.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience.
  • Experience operating various types of vehicles, such as cars and vans.
  • Driving: Safely operate different types of vehicles.
  • Navigation: Proficient in using navigation apps (Waze, Google Maps) to determine the most efficient routes.
  • Time Management: Punctual with the ability to manage schedules effectively.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and ability to perform routine checks (e.g., oil, tire pressure).
  • Safety: Strong understanding of road safety rules and emergency procedures.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to remain calm and handle unexpected issues, such as breakdowns or traffic delays.
  • Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge:
  • Thorough knowledge of Klang Valley roads and outstation routes.
  • Familiarity with local and national traffic laws.
  • Competence in using smartphones and GPS for navigation and communication.
  • Understanding of company confidentiality requirements and basic documentation (e.g., vehicle reports).
