Regional Executive, Talent Acquisition (Contract)  

Position Responsibilities

The Recruiter (12-months contract) supports high-volume hiring in Malaysia to meet business expansion and operational workforce needs. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for corporate roles, ensuring efficient hiring processes, strong candidate pipelines, and a positive candidate experience. The recruiter will work closely with hiring managers and the People & Culture team to deliver timely and quality hires.


1. High-Volume Recruitment

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for high-volume roles in Malaysia, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
  • Support hiring for operational expansion, including store openings and workforce scale-up.
  • Ensure timely hiring while maintaining candidate quality and hiring standards.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for recurring and critical roles.

2. Stakeholder Partnership

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements, role expectations, and workforce needs.
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers on candidate availability, hiring timelines, and recruitment strategies.
  • Ensure clear communication with stakeholders throughout the hiring process.

3. Recruitment Operations & Coordination

  • Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communications, and hiring documentation.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment data in the recruitment system.
  • Support the preparation and issuance of employment offers in collaboration with the People & Culture team.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient recruitment processes from sourcing to onboarding.

4. Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Source candidates through job portals, social media platforms, employee referrals, and recruitment campaigns.
  • Build and maintain talent pools for recurring operational and corporate roles.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment events to attract talent.

5. Recruitment Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Track recruitment progress and hiring metrics such as time-to-hire and pipeline conversion.
  • Provide regular hiring updates to the People & Culture team and hiring managers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment efficiency, sourcing strategies, and candidate experience.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in high-volume hiring environments.
  • Experience in retail, F&B, or fast-paced industries is an advantage.
  • Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with multiple recruitment channels.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously and work within tight hiring timelines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
