Position Responsibilities


1.Supplier Management and Auditing
  • Conduct approval and routine supplier audit to ensure compliances of food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, work closely with suppliers to address and resolve quality issues, including any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Establish and maintain positive and strong relationship with suppliers, fostering continuous improvement in product quality.

2.Quality Assurance and Compliance
  • Conduct Product Safety Review on supplier FSQ documentations, such as QAP, product specification and others i.e. certificate of analysis, testing reports, quality control protocols etc. that require approval, ensuring the validity of the FSQ documentations.
  • Address FSQ related concerns to supplier to safeguard compliances.
  • Monitor compliance with food safety standards, including FSSC22000, HACCP, FDA/EU FC Compliances and other relevant regulations.

3.Product Innovation and Development Support
  • Collaborate with Product Innovation and Retail Operations team to conduct product evaluation, safeguard product compliance and feasibility in accordance to retail operations flow.
  • Ensure and conduct testing for drink ingredients, food, packaging etc to ensure safety, quality and consistency.

4.Suppler Performance Scoreboard
  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports on supplier performance, including non-conformance reports, incident tracking, and corrctive action plans.
  • Identify trends in product quality, complaints, or incidents, and work with suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology, Engineering or other related disciplines
  • Formal background or training in technical areas relevant to product safety standards (HACCP / GFSI)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, or Food Safety in the food and beverage industry, preferably within Quick Restaurant Services line.
  • Fluent in English, Malay and Chinese (spoken and written).
  • Strong knowledge of supplier management and auditing processes, food safety standards, quality assurance terminology, implementations, methods and tools.
  • Technical knowledge and hands on experience in handling certification audit such as GFSI is preferred.
  • Able to articulate new information quickly and react positively to new and challenging opportunities.
  • Able to communicate effectively with team members, internal colleagues, operation peers and suppliers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to details and accuracy, meticulous with good problem-solving skills.
  • Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight timelines.
  • Possess own transport and wiling to travel.
