Regional Assistant Manager, Sourcing (Non-Coffee)  

Position Responsibilities

The Procurement/ Sourcing Assistant Manager supports the effective and sustainable sourcing of ingredients and supplies to ensure continuity, quality, and cost efficiency across operations. This role is hands-on in supplier management, contract execution, and supply chain coordination, while contributing to risk mitigation, compliance, and cost optimisation initiatives in partnership with internal stakeholders.

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost competitiveness, and compliance standards. Maintain day-to-day supplier relationships and support long-term partnership development.
  • Support and execute contract negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, lead times, and delivery conditions. Ensure contracts are properly documented and adhered to.
  • Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end supply process from suppliers to internal operations. Monitor supply performance to ensure timely and accurate delivery of ingredients and materials.
  • Track market trends, pricing movements, and availability to support cost optimisation and sourcing decisions. Contribute to cost-saving and value-improvement initiatives while safeguarding quality standards.
  • Identify potential supply risks, including shortages or disruptions, and support mitigation plans such as alternative sourcing or inventory strategies.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and audits, maintain performance scorecards, and ensure adherence to food safety, regulatory, and sustainability requirements.
  • Partner closely with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Finance teams to support new ingredient sourcing, product innovation, and smooth operational execution.
  • Support process improvements, documentation, and reporting to enhance procurement efficiency, transparency, and governance.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Procurement.
  • 4‒6 years of experience in procurement, preferably F&B.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Resourceful and solution-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.
  • Knowledge of supply chain systems and procurement best practices.
