Regional Assistant Manager, Project Management Office  

Position Responsibilities

Project Planning & Management
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for product development initiatives, taking into account resource allocation, dependencies, and milestones
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
  • This role will be responsible for the success tracking of Product team’s OKR

Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related activities, coordinating efforts across departments such as R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality Assurance
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and communication channels to ensure transparency and accountability among team member

Risk Management
  • Identify potential risks and obstacles to project success, proactively developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address them
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics, identifying deviations from plan and implementing corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track

Resource Management
  • Allocate resources effectively to support project objectives, including personnel, equipment, and budgetary resources
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party contracts, ensuring that external partners deliver on their commitments and meet project requirements

Stakeholder Communication & Management
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders, including executive leadership, project sponsors, and cross-functional teams
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and risks in a clear and concise manner, addressing questions and concerns as they arise

Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the product development lifecycle, implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the project team, encouraging feedback, collaboration, and knowledge sharing

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related field required
  • 4+ years of experience in project management, preferably in product development or related areas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion, delivering results on time and within budget
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to anticipate challenges, identify solutions, and make data-driven decisions
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of product development processes, including stage-gate methodologies, design thinking, and agile practices
