Regional Manager, Marketing  

Positions Responsibilities

To strategize, develop, manage, execute and optimize regional customer journey from acquisition to repeat purchase via:

  • Lead the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and platform initiatives across countries to achieve company goals (new user acquisition, app installs, cups sold, gross revenue)
  • Serve as the key liaison with the Regional Brand team to craft and roll out go-to-market (GTM) strategies for corporate, consumer, and brand partnerships at the regional marketing level.
  • Collaborate with Regional Departments/Functions—including but not limited to: Partnerships, Growth, Retail, Product, and Tech—to develop and execute initiatives aimed to achieve companywide goals.
  • Own and continuously improve the ZUS Coffee Marketing Playbook—a strategic and executional guide to ensure every market launch is supported with a ready-to-deploy marketing plan covering the first 6 months – 1 year of operations. This includes market readiness assets, campaign frameworks, execution timelines, and resource allocation guidelines that allow local teams to operate independently yet effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy team to co-develop market entry reports during country visits, including competitor landscape, digital behavior, and offline marketing channel readiness.
  • Act as the interim Country Marketing Manager for newly launched markets, supporting the Regional Senior Manager in building and hiring the local marketing team.
  • Act as a marketing consultant and subject matter expert for newly franchised markets, offering guidance on ZUS Coffee’s marketing operating model and advising local franchisees on how to build marketing strategies that align with brand standards and business goals.
  • Own and drive revenue performance for assigned countries by adapting and localizing regional frameworks and playbooks to ensure successful market entry and brand growth.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 5+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or regional operations, ideally in fast-growing or tech-enabled businesses.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup, digital platform, e-commerce, or mobile-first company.
  • Understanding of regional consumer behavior, cultural nuances, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Familiarity with growth hacking frameworks or product-led growth principles.
  • Proven track record of delivering growth in a regional or multi-market context.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with growth tools and metrics (e.g., CRM, Google Analytics, Tableau, SQL).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias for action and results.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages and cultural fluency within the region.
