Intern, Business Analyst  

Position Responsibilities

  1. Requirement Discovery & Documentation
  • Shadow & Assist: Participate in requirements-gathering workshops with the Project Manager, Product Manager, and Business Process team.
  • Drafting & Product Specs: Translate business needs into clear documentation such as Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Product Requirement Documents (PRD), or user stories.
  • Process Mapping: Create “As-Is” and “To-Be” process flow diagrams using appropriate tools together with business process managers.
  • Traceability: Maintain a Requirement Traceability Matrix to ensure all business needs and changes are accounted for in the final build.
  • Others: Contribute to internal playbooks, SOPs, or training guides.
2. End-to-End Testing (SIT & UAT)
  • Test Case Creation: Develop detailed test scripts for System Integration Testing (SIT) to validate data flow between modules and ensure functional requirements work as expected.
  • UAT Facilitation: Support the project team and business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test data and guiding users through the system.
  • Defect Management: Log, track, and report bugs found during testing using tools such as Lark Base (e.g. MS Project) or Meegle (e.g. Jira).
  • Verification: Re-test fixed defects to ensure they meet the original requirements and “Definition of Done”.

3. Project Support & Go-Live
  • Meeting Minutes: Capture key decisions and action items during technical and stakeholder meetings.
  • User Guides: Assist in preparing training materials and system manuals for end users.
  • Incident Translation: Capture bugs reported by users, filter out user errors, and translate actual technical issues into clear tickets for developers.
  • Deployment & Rollout Support: Assist the Project Manager in tracking the Go-Live checklist to ensure all technical and business requirements/SOP rollouts to stores are met.

Qualification and Experiences

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear documentation for both developers and users.
  • “Translator” Mindset: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
  • Analytical Curiosity: An active listener who asks “why” to uncover root business needs.
  • Meticulous Detail: High attention to detail and strong precision in documentation and testing.
  • Adaptability: Able to handle changing requirements and manage multiple project priorities effectively.
