Regional System Admin Specialist (Pos System)

Objective
As a Regional System Administrator (POS-Focused) at ZUS COFFEE, you will be responsible for driving the rollout, optimisation, and long-term stability of POS systems and store technology infrastructure across your assigned region. Rather than handling reactive support tasks, you will work proactively on system rollout planning, validation of new features, infrastructure consistency, and feedback loops that inform our broader R&D and system stabilisation roadmap.

Position Responsibilities

1. System Deployment & Rollout

  • Coordinate the end-to-end deployment of POS systems and store tech infrastructure for new outlets and refurbishments.
  • Validate setup compliance against central tech guidelines and perform go-live audits.

2. System R&D & Stabilisation

  • Collaborate with the Tech team to test new POS features, hardware models, or connectivity solutions in live environments.
  • Gather structured observations from the field to support system tuning, failover testing, and software refinement.
  • Support root cause analysis by providing ground-level system behaviour and data collection (not user-facing support).

3. Infrastructure Governance

  • Own and standardise regional store-level infrastructure: POS mounts, printers, tablets, and etc.
  • Ensure system uptime and connectivity resilience via proactive inspection, firmware management, and on-site review.
  • Maintain system health dashboards and setup compliance audits for hardware, OS versions, and MDM policy adherence.

4. Store Technology Feedback Loop

  • Conduct regular walkthroughs and check-ins across stores to assess operational friction, system responsiveness, and hardware performance.
  • Channel insights into structured reporting for Tech and Product teams to prioritise improvements or further research.
Qualification and Experiences
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a technical field deployment, systems administration, or store technology enablement role.
  • Experience in F&B or retail rollouts is highly desirable.
  • Familiar with POS systems (preferably Android-based), mobile device management (MDM), network hardware, and store infrastructure setup.
  • Able to conduct field validation, capture logs, and support structured issue replication (not customer-facing support).
  • Knowledge of version control, change management, and rollout playbooks is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership over rollout quality and infrastructure consistency.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with central Tech, Product, and Ops teams.
  • Willing to travel extensively within the assigned region and work flexibly around launch timelines.
