Creative Lead, FMCG  

Objective

The Creative Lead is in charge of thehowof design — ensuring every FMCG brand speaks consistently, beautifully, and strategically. You oversee and mentor the design team, act as a creative gatekeeper to maintain visual integrity, and continuously enhance design systems and templates to empower efficiency and high-volume output. You translate brand and design vision into actionable creative strategies — guiding teams to deliver work that is both purposeful and powerful.

Position Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Mentorship

  • Oversee and mentor a team of senior creative designers and design leads to ensure consistent, high-quality creative output.
  • Act as the creative gatekeeper, maintains the brand's design integrity across all platforms.
  • Nurture talent, encourage experimentation, and create space for creative growth within the team.

Creative Direction & Execution

  • Review and refine key creative work to ensure it meets both brand and business objectives.
  • Translate design vision into actionable, scalable templates that maintain consistency and empower efficient, high-volume output.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Marketing, Product, and FMCG teams to ensure creative execution aligns with campaign strategy, timelines, and market needs.

Systemisation & Efficiency

  • Develop, refine, and enhance creative templates, design systems, and visual frameworks to boost efficiency and enable high-volume output.
  • Build scalable design processes that maintain craft while meeting fast-paced marketing demands.
  • Streamline workflows across creative, brand and marketing teams for greater clarity and consistency.


Qualification and Experience

  • 6–8 years of experience in creative direction, brand design, or FMCG marketing (experience in design agencies, lifestyle, or F&B brands is a plus).
  • Proven ability to lead creative teams and manage multiple brands or campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong eye for design systems — balancing creativity with structure and scalability.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; motion or 3D familiarity is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills — you inspire, not just instruct.
  • A strategic mindset with a passion for craft, culture, and coffee.
