Regional Specialist, Food Development (Food)  

PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE (OF THIS POSITION):
To ensure seamless, high quality rollout of food products across the region by coordinating cross-functional readiness, supporting frontline execution and driving structured post-launch performance reporting. The role acts as a critical link between product development and in-market execution teams with a strong focus on consistency, operational feasibility and continuous improvements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Part 1 –Primary roles of the job which are measurable and may be used as part of KPIs
Launch Execution & Readiness
  • Coordinate and manage all pre-launch operational readiness activities across markets
  • Ensure timely deployment of food launch materials such as recipe cards, cost sheets, marketing assets and team briefings
  • Act as the key liaison externally and internally to drive launches
Operational Coordination
  • Track market wise execution status and flag readiness risks to direct report
  • Support the translation of product intent into operationally viable execution plans
  • Help ensure food launches meet intended cost, quality and customer experience standards

Part 2 – Secondary roles which supports the primary roles above
Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Consolidate launch performance data (sales uplift, SOP adherence, operational feedback, customer feedbacks) into structured reports
  • Monitor and document issues encountered, escalate and drive action plans to remediate issues
  • Support post launch review with learnings, insights and suggested process improvements
Tools, Templates & Best Practices
  • Maintain and evolve standardized templates for launch documentation, readiness tracking and performance reporting
  • Help identify and document best practices in food launch execution across the region for future application

JOB AUTHORITIES :

    JOB COMPETENCIES / REQUIREMENTS:
    Qualification
    • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business, Hospitality or related field

    Experience
    • 2 - 4 years of experience in product launch coordination, QSR, F&B operations or category support roles
    • Exposure to food or beverage rollouts at a regional or multi-market level exposure

    Skills & Knowledge
    • Understanding of food service operations
    • Familiarity with go-to-market processes, launch playbooks and executional checklists
    • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and track timelines diligently
    • Strong working knowledge on Excel, PowerPoint and basic reporting tools
    • Basic understanding of cost of sales, portioning and food preparation standards
