Technician, Aircond/Equipment  

Position Responsibilities

• Perform regular servicing and preventive maintenance of split unit, cassette, and FCU air conditioning systems.
• Diagnose and repair air conditioning faults including gas leaks, electrical faults, and control system issues. Clean and replace air filters, inspect coils, fan motors, and ensure units operate efficiently.
• Maintain temperature settings across outlets for customer comfort and food safety compliance.
• Carry out regular calibration, and performance testing of equipment.
• Maintain and repair equipment including blenders, ovens, chillers, under-counter chillers, freezer and ice machines.
• Provide first-level support and troubleshooting to outlet teams for urgent equipment issues.
• Liaise with third-party vendors for warranty claims or complex repairs beyond internal scope.
• Constantly update to supervisor on equipment conditions, parts replacement needs, and any recurring issues.
• Respond promptly to outlet service calls and ticket requests (via system or WhatsApp/phone).
• Ensure minimal downtime and disruption to store operations during maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate service logs of servicing work done on equipment at each outlet.
• Manage and track accessories/tools/spare parts inventory and usage.
• Ensure all work is conducted safely and in accordance with JKKP/DOSH regulations.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by management (if any).

Qualification and Experience

• Certificate/Diploma in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years hands-on experience in HVAC servicing and F&B equipment maintenance.
• Proficient in troubleshooting Air Cond systems. Familiar with equipment (e.g. freezer, chillers, ice machine etc) and understanding electrical wiring and refrigeration systems.
• A valuable team player and able to work independently
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Malay.
• Willing to travel across outlets within assigned regions (within Malaysia).
• Able to work on weekends, public holidays, and respond to emergency issues when needed.
• Possess own transport (motorcycle or car).
