Executive, Repair, Maintenance, & Preventive Maintenance (R&M & PPM)  

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead the maintenance technicians in repair and maintain of outlets air conditioning systems (split unit, cassette, and FCU) and equipment.
  • Conduct technical assessments and root-cause analysis for complex or recurring issues.
  • Review and improve preventive plan maintenance (PPM) schedules to maximize equipment lifespan and minimize downtime.
  • Assign and review daily job tasks, provide technical guidance, and conduct on-site quality checks.
  • Mentor and train technicians on best practices, safety procedures, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Liaise with vendors, third-party service providers, and contractors for outsourced repair works, warranty claims, and technical support.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of critical equipment, spare parts, and tools.
  • Track equipment health, usage, service history, and recommend replacement or upgrades when necessary.
  • Generate monthly reports on equipment performance, maintenance KPIs, breakdown frequency, and cost of repairs.
  • Monitor costing to be within the budgets.
  • Develop and update SOPs/guideline for HVAC and equipment servicing and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure documentation and logs are accurately recorded and filed.
  • Respond promptly to outlet service calls and ticket requests (via system or WhatsApp/phone).
  • Ensure minimal downtime and disruption to store operations during maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all work is conducted safely and in accordance with JKKP/DOSH regulations.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by management (if any)

Job Requirements

Qualification

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience in HVAC servicing and F&B equipment maintenance.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting, AC system design and electrical wiring.
  • Skilled in maintaining equipment (e.g. freezer, chillers, ice machine etc).
  • Strong leadership, planning and communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking with a proactive, solution-driven approach.

  • Willing to travel across outlets within assigned regions (within Malaysia).
  • Able to work on weekends, public holidays and respond to emergency issues when needed.
