Position Responsibilities
- Ensuring the procurement activities are executed as per the company’s procurement procedure.
- Plan and implement supply chain processes that include Inbounding, Purchase Order, Good Receive Note.
- Monitor inventory levels for item inbound warehouse to ensure adequate stock available for Outlets
- Work closely with planner on the forecast to supplier
- Work with other departments to coordinate activities such as sample request, shipping, receiving, storing, picking, packing, and expediting goods
- Negotiating with local supplier on the price, delivery, payment term and services.
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure a continuous supply of goods and services
- Perform other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior/ management
- Identifies supply and supplier issues. Analyses information to assess root cause, improvement and associated risk. Recommends and implements solutions.
Qualification & Expereinces
- Must possess at least a Diploma/ Degree in Procurement/ Business Administration/ Supply Chain/ Operation Management or related field
- 1 - 2 years working experience in Supply Chain or Procurement functions
- Strong and wide knowledge in Procurement best practice and system-oriented background
- Computer literate with good command of both written and spoken English and Malay.
- Assertive and dynamic, with good communication skills
- Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A valuable team player and able to work independently
- Possess own transport and willing to travel
