Position Responsibilities
Hiring Objective: As a Product Development Specialist, you will lead and drive end-to-end Innovation & Renovation (I&R) initiatives within the organization. Leveraging your technical expertise across product, process, packaging, and operations, you will play a key role in developing and commercializing products that support business objectives, enhance product performance, and meet consumer expectations. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, work closely with suppliers and production partners, and conduct product trials and validation tests to ensure product quality, functionality, and consumer satisfaction. Lastly, you will also involve in product and market research to identify consumer needs, industry trends, and competitive benchmarks, providing data-driven insights to guide product development and innovation strategies.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Lead or Drive basic-to-medium complexity Product Development Projects (Innovation & Renovation)
according to NPD Process for Product, Process and Packaging (Basic +)
- Ensure launched products meet brand & marketing needs, internal & external requirements, food safety,
quality and regulations.
- Ensure Change Management is executed and achieved high technical standard.
- Lead or Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) Projects under the scope of Product, Process and
Operational Technical. Support CI Projects under Quality & Compliance Pillar. Collaborate with internal
or cross-function team for CI Projects.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all Technical Documents, Experiment Design, Trial, Test Results,
SOP, Quality & Compliance Records for I&R and CI Projects.
- Lead Product Market Research, data collection & analysis, report preparation & presentation.
- Provide Technical Support to internal & cross-functional team for business needs.
- Support in data maintenance for ERP system.
- Responsible for Lab Management such as Safety, Cleanliness, Calibration, Inventory Management,
Documentation & Records.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by managers or team leads for business purposes.
