Learning Content Designer  

Position Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop end-to-end learning solutions using instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Lead the development of blended learning experiences, including digital learning, classroom facilitation materials, performance support tools, and assessments.
  • Conduct learning needs analysis in partnership with business stakeholders to identify capability gaps and recommend appropriate learning interventions.
  • Translate complex operational and business information into clear, engaging, and learner-centric content.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to validate technical accuracy while ensuring content meets instructional and learner experience standards.
  • Manage the review, revision, and governance of learning materials to ensure content remains current, relevant, accessible, and aligned with organisational standards.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness through learner feedback, assessment results, business metrics, and post-implementation reviews, recommending continuous improvements where required.
  • Leverage learning technologies, multimedia tools, and emerging instructional design practices to enhance learner engagement and digital learning experiences.
  • Support strategic learning and capability development initiatives, contributing to the continuous evolution of the organisation's learning ecosystem.
Secondary Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple learning and development projects simultaneously, ensuring deliverables are completed within agreed timelines, scope, and quality standards.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, validate learning needs, and ensure learning solutions are aligned with organisational goals and operational priorities.
  • Provide consultation, guidance, and coaching to team members and cross-functional stakeholders on instructional design methodologies, learning strategies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Digital Learning and Technology teams to implement, maintain, and optimise learning content across Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital learning platforms.
  • Design and implement learning evaluation strategies, including assessments, learner feedback, and performance metrics, to measure learning effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain governance of learning assets by managing a centralised repository, ensuring all learning materials remain accurate, current, version-controlled, and easily accessible.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend innovative learning technologies, instructional approaches, and industry best practices to enhance learning experiences and organisational capability.
  • Support strategic learning initiatives and perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the reporting manager or Management.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology or any related fields.
  • 2-5 years of experience in instructional design or related fields such as curriculum development or technical writing.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring, multimedia design, or other applicable multimedia designing tools.
  • Experience applying instructional design principles.
  • Experience creating graphics, animations, and other multimedia elements to enhance the learning experience.
  • Experience integrating learning content with an LMS or other technology platforms.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and working with a team to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to plan and execute video shoots and perform video editing for learning purposes; able to handle video shooting tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
