Senior Executive, Procurement  

Position Responsibilities

  • Responsible & support for the procurement’s local purchase/sourcing.

  • Ensuring the procurement activities are executed as per the company’s procurement procedure.

  • Assists and supportthe manager in the roll out of central procurement process with other departments.

  • Work with other departments to coordinate activities such as shipping, receiving, storing, picking, packing, and expediting goods.

  • Negotiating with local supplieron the price, delivery, payment termand services.

  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure a continuous supply of goods and services.

  • Plan and implement supply chain processes that include Inbounding, Purchase Order, Transfer Note.

  • Perform other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior/ management.

  • Identifies supply and supplier issues. Analyses information to assess root cause, improvement and associated risk. Recommends and implements solutions.


Qualifications and Experiences

  • Candidates must possess at least a Degree in Supply Chain or other related disciplines.

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of work experience in related fields.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, project management, and time-management skills.

  • A valuable team player and able to work independently.

  • Able to collect, analyze and interpret data.

  • Computer literature with a good command of both written and spoken English, Malay and Mandarin would be an advantage.

  • Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Possess own transport andwilling to travel.
