District Manager (Sarawak)  

Responsibilities:

  • Setting goals, developing and driving strategic and operational plans based on trend analysis and local market knowledge to ensure effective execution.
  • Manages the team with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the culture, values, and mission of ZUS Coffee.
  • Drives the engagement, development, and performance of all team members
  • Demonstrates a calm demeanor during tough periods or unusual events and manages smooth transitions thereafter to keep the stores operating to standard and to set positive examples for the store teams
  • Demonstrates ingenuity and creativity in accomplishing goals when resources are limited or unavailable; can execute a plan without relying on a defined process
  • Sets clear expectations, delegates and communicates key responsibilities and practices to team members to ensure smooth flow of operations
  • Constantly reviews store environment to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Monitors and manages store staffing levels
  • Utilizes management information tools and analyzes financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in-store performance
  • Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Develops risk management framework, service recovery framework, policy, process and establishes financial budgets and plans
  • Develops and maintains business continuity strategies, policies, and guidelines
  • Facilitates the innovation process within the organization and fosters business relationships and organizational diversity
  • Manages compliance with food and beverage hygiene policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of progressive working experience preferably in the F&B industry or similar role in a complex environment
  • Experience supervising others
  • Excellent presentation, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • A valuable Team Player and Critical Thinker
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Computer literate with proficient in Microsoft Windows, Office, and F&B POS operating system and software
  • Pleasant personality, independent, hardworking and energetic person
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Malay
  • Willing to work during weekends and public holidays
  • Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
