Visual Merchandiser  

Position Responsibilities:

Visual Merchandising Strategy

  • Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies aligned with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Plan and execute visual displays, signage, and product presentations to enhance the overall retail environment.
  • Continuously evaluate and refresh merchandising techniques to maximize impact and drive sales.

Retail Space Management

  • Manage the retail merchandising layout and organization of retail spaces within our outlets to optimize traffic flow and customer engagement.
  • Coordinate with outlet managers and operations teams to ensure consistent implementation of merchandising standards across all outlets.
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of retail space utilization and propose improvements for increased efficiency and profitability.

Product Promotion and Upselling

  • Develop strategies to effectively showcase and promote key hero products within the retail space.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create compelling promotional campaigns and displays that drive upsells and cross-sells.
  • Monitor sales performance and customer feedback to refine merchandising tactics and capitalize on emerging trends.

Procurement and Inventory Management

  • Source and procure retail fixtures, displays, and materials necessary for merchandising initiatives.
  • Maintain inventory levels of merchandising materials and coordinate replenishment as needed.
  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of merchandising assets.

Innovation and Creativity

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to inform innovative merchandising approaches.
  • Conceptualize and implement creative retail activations and visual installations to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Act as a champion of creativity and innovation within the organization, inspiring team members to push boundaries and explore new ideas.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least bachelor's degree in Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in visual merchandising, retail marketing, or store planning, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong creative vision and aesthetic sensibility, with a passion for crafting immersive brand experiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software and visual merchandising tools will be added advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
