Position Responsibilities

Concept Development

  • Lead the ideation and conceptualization of new food concepts, drawing inspiration from market trends, consumer preferences, and culinary innovation.
  • Develop innovative and differentiated food recipes that align with our brand identity, target audience, and business objectives.

Market Research

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences in the food space.
  • Conduct market research, consumer surveys, and sensory evaluations to identify emerging trends and opportunities for innovation.

Quality Assurance

  • Establish and maintain quality standards for food products, ensuring consistency, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations and quality tests to assess product attributes and identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of food innovation initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, presenting ideas, progress updates, and recommendations for product enhancements.

Project Management

  • Manage multiple food innovation projects simultaneously, from concept to commercialization, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and project milestones.
  • Coordinate activities with internal and external partners, including suppliers, vendors, and co-manufacturers, to support project objectives.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of food development processes, including recipes, formulations, specifications, and testing results.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, presentations, and post-launch evaluations to assess project performance and inform future innovation strategies.

Qualifications & Requirement

  • At least bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Nutrition, or related field required.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in food innovation, product development, or related roles within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a coffee-chain or quick-service restaurant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary trends, flavor profiles, ingredient functionality, and formulation principles.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and launching innovative food products, with a focus on taste, quality, and consumer appeal.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a keen understanding of consumer preferences and market dynamics.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite / Google Suite solutions.
